~ Charlotte and Rosie ~

At only 8 weeks old, Rosie was welcomed into her forever home with Charlotte. It has now been over 3 years since, and the two are now inseparable.

Rosie, a lovely golden retriever, was adopted at 8 weeks old from a breeder in New Zealand. From the moment Charlotte first saw Rosie, she knew she was a special dog. She was the smallest of the litter, and Charlotte fell in love with her small size and a seemingly endless amount of fluff! After adopting Rosie, Charlotte was excited to watch her grow into a beautiful dog.

Sadly, in 2010, Charlotte lost her best friend – her grandmother. This was a very difficult time for her. Her grandmother was someone Charlotte felt comfortable with and could be herself around. Years later, when Charlotte adopted Rosie, she found a companion and best friend.

Having Rosie has changed Charlotte’s life, as well as her family’s lives, too. She and Charlotte share an amazing bond. Rosie never fails to bring a smile to Charlotte’s face, even during the more challenging days. To Charlotte, Rosie is the very definition of a best friend. Whenever she returns home after an outing, Rosie is right there to excitedly welcome her back.

Charlotte also knows that, no matter what may have been happening, Rosie can brighten any day. Whether with an excited greeting, doing zoomies, or anything else that makes Rosie, Rosie.

Not only has Rosie touched the lives of Charlotte and her family, but also the greater community. Whenever Rosie is out and about with her human, they are often met with many smiling faces and people wanting to stop and talk. When they go to dog parks, Rosie can make anyone laugh with her zoomies around the area. If she feels like taking a break, however, she very much enjoys sitting on benches and being around people for lots of pats and cuddles!

The bond between both Charlotte and Rosie is evident. They obviously care about each other immensely. You can see in the way they look at each other that they have unconditional love for one another. It is truly a beautiful friendship.
